Norris takes third at Mosport

Tim Norris, behind the wheel once again for apprenticesearch.com, took home a strong third place finish July 11th in front of a huge crowd at the Mosport Oval. Norris' finish ties his season best, and places him solidly in place for Rookie of the Year Honours, with six more races to go.

Things didn't start out so well for Norris and his team. A spin-out in an early heat led to a disappointing eighth place finish. "In the heat we struggled a little," says Norris. "I was pushing way too hard to go faster."

Norris is still familiarizing himself with the car. "We're still learning," he says. He credits his team in the pit, which includes Dave Buchanan, his brother Tom and his father, Jim, for helping him ensure the Apprenticesearch.com car is running at peak condition.

"It's good to be able to make adjustments throughout the night." Doing so allowed Norris and his team to make a huge comeback in the final race. "We made it better for the feature," says Norris.

"This ties our best finish of the year," said a jubilant Norris after the race, "I'm happy to have the Apprenticesearch.com Dodge leading the Rookie of the Year championship."
