The Centre for Skills Development & Training is a continuing education provider affiliated with the Halton District School Board. As a non-profit corporation, our aim is to provide learning opportunities for the community through responsive, quality programming that is strengthened by partnerships.
You'll find both full-time and part-time programs at our facilities. One of our many departments is the Pre-Apprenticeship Skilled Trades Programs.

The Centre for Skills Development & Training is also known for its innovative programming, developed to respond to industry need. As part of the Women in Skilled Trades Initiative funded by the Government of Ontario, and in partnership with Rescon and Monarch Homes, the Centre now offers an exciting new program targeted to Women up to the age of 30 with an interest in entering a career in the Construction industry.
